Most leaks on the Coast come from cracked ridge capping, slipped tiles or rusted flashings around skylights and vents. We trace where the water gets in, which is often a metre or two from the wet patch on your ceiling.
You'll see photos of the problem before we fix it and after.
What's included
- Full roof check while we're up there.
- Replacement tiles matched as closely as we can.
- Photos before and after.
- Typical price
- A$350 to A$1,200
- How long
- Usually fixed on the first visit.
Storm damage
After a storm we prioritise active leaks. Where we can, we tarp the same day to stop more water getting in, then come back for the proper repair.
We write the report your insurer asks for, with photos and a costed scope.
What's included
- Emergency tarping.
- Insurance report.
- Repairs to tiles, metal, flashings and gutters.
- Typical price
- Tarping from A$450. Repairs quoted after inspection.
- How long
- Tarping same day or next. Repairs as soon as materials arrive.
Roof restoration
For concrete and terracotta tile roofs that are sound underneath but tired on top. We high-pressure clean, replace broken tiles, re-bed and re-point the ridge capping, then apply a primer and two coats of membrane paint.
Done well, a restoration buys you fifteen years or more.
What's included
- Cleaning.
- Broken tiles replaced.
- Ridges re-bedded and re-pointed.
- Primer and two coats in your choice of colour.
- Ten-year warranty.
- Typical price
- A$5,500 to A$9,000 for most single-storey homes.
- How long
- Four to six days, weather permitting.
Re-roofing
When tiles are past saving or you want a lighter, quieter-in-the-rain roof, we take the tiles off and put new steel on. New battens where they're needed, new sarking and insulation blanket, new flashings.
You choose the colour from the standard steel range; we'll bring samples.
What's included
- Tile removal and disposal.
- Battens, sarking and insulation blanket.
- New steel roof, flashings and ridge.
- Ten-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty.
- Typical price
- A$22,000 to A$34,000 for most single-storey homes.
- How long
- Four to seven days. The roof is never left open overnight.
Gutters and downpipes
Overflowing gutters are one of the most common reasons water ends up inside. We replace rusted or undersized gutters and add downpipes where there aren't enough.
What's included

- New steel gutters and downpipes in a matching colour.
- Leaf guard available.
- Typical price
- From A$55 a metre installed. Leaf guard from A$28 a metre.

Roof inspections
Buying, selling or just not sure? We'll get on the roof, check every part of it and send you a report with photos and what we'd do first.
What's included

- Priorities ranked as now, soon and later.
- Typical price
- Free with any quote. A$220 on its own.
- How long
- Report within 48 hours.

Questions people ask on the phone
Can you come today?
For active leaks, often yes, especially before 11am. Otherwise usually within two business days.
Do you charge to quote?
No. The inspection and written quote are free. A standalone inspection report is A$220.
Will you work with my insurer?
Yes. We write the report and costed scope insurers ask for. Your insurer decides the claim.
Do I need to be home?
Not for the inspection, as long as we can get to the side of the house. We'll call before we arrive.
What does the warranty cover?
Our workmanship for ten years. Materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty on top of that.
Are you licensed?
Yes, with the QBCC. Our licence number is in the footer of every page.
Water coming in right now?
Call us. If we can't get there today, we'll tell you what to do until we can.
Until we get there
- Move furniture and rugs away from the drip.
- Put a bucket under it, with a towel inside to stop the splash.
- Take a photo of the ceiling. Your insurer will ask for one.
